The Rotary Club of Downtown Suffolk is a diverse group of local leaders, professionals, and changemakers who come together to make a difference in our community and around the world. Chartered with a passion for service and fellowship, our club represents the heart of Rotary’s mission: Service Above Self.

Located in the historic core of Suffolk, Virginia, we’re uniquely positioned to blend tradition with innovation—partnering with local organizations, supporting youth programs, championing public service projects, and responding to the needs of our city with hands-on action and heartfelt commitment.

Our club meets weekly on Thursdays to foster connection, exchange ideas, and work collaboratively on service initiatives that uplift individuals and strengthen our community. Whether it’s mentoring students, supporting food security, funding scholarships, or leading cleanup efforts, we believe that small acts—when multiplied—can change lives.

As part of Rotary International, we’re also connected to a global network of more than 1.4 million members in over 46,000 clubs worldwide. This affiliation allows us to have both a local and global impact—participating in efforts to eradicate polio, promote peace, and provide clean water, education, and economic opportunity to those who need it most.

If you're looking for purpose, connection, and a way to give back, the Rotary Club of Downtown Suffolk invites you to join us. Together, we can make Suffolk—and the world—a better place.
